This is without a doubt the most compelling book written on the Benoit trajedy. Randazzo puts you inside the mind of Benoit with the tales of his decention into madness of the world of pro wrestling. With the horrific stoies of Stampede, the Dynamite Kid, the New Japan Pro Wrestling dojo, humiliating ribs, ECW, WCW, WWE,Benoit's early introduction to steroids and drugs, and his early destructive finish, Ring of Hell will keep you on the edge of your seat until the last page. Matthew Randazzo has provided us with a terrific, no-holds-barred book about one of the greatest technical wrestlers to ever pull on a pair of tights. Wrestling talent and workrate notwithstandng, this fantastic book casts the enigmatic Benoit in an even less flattering light that closes the gap between the man he actually and the man we thought he was -- or the man we have wanted to think he was. A gripping, well-written comprehensive book that will keep true wrestling fans on the edge of their seats.

Very well written with insights into the crazy and most devious ribbs, as well as an expose on organised crime connections in wrestling and a physical dissection of some of the most disturbed personalities ever to be involved in the modern era pro wrestling buisness.

Im not a big book reader, but I picked this up and read continously for 2 days straight, its that damn good.

Highly reccomended!

Finally a book about a true American Hero! I give this 5 stars. This generations Gone With The Wind. A must read.
